Surprise!

I told hubby to fill up the gas in my car, cause I have to go to work tomorrow, pretty early and thought I can drive by myself since the snow are all melted and the streets are dry. To my surprise upon waking up this morning, it’s all covered with white stuff again. Oh common, it has been snowing since midnight while we are all asleep and this morning it’s a winter wonderland. So guess, I have to let hubby drive me to work again. Snow is still falling and it looks freezng out there. Oh-la-la!

Bye November!

In three days, we are going to say goodbye to the month of November and welcome a new month of December where Santa is a big hit. My daughter already has a long list, taller than me. I told her that Santa can only afford two or three so she has to narrow it down and pick the one that she really needs. The “wants” it can wait, we are going to take care of the “needs” first. I have a long shift today and hoping for it to be busy. Hopefully, consumers are not all shopped it.

They are off!

Kids are off starting today until Friday. We are going to spend “Thanksgiving” over to a friend’s house. Hubby will make the turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes and they will do the rest. I am thinking of baking some appetizers but will see if I won’t be tired cause I am working a full shift. Hopefully, I will be able to do some baking if not, there’s always something ready at the store. They won’t mind, once you are working time is limited.

It’s Friday!

Weekend is here and it’s going to be a busy weekend. I am working the whole weekend and can’t wait for my day off over the week which is Tuesday. I have been working long hours lately and the kids said, they haven’t seen enough of me. LOL! But they do understand, holidays are coming and in retail it’s the most busiest shopping of all times. I will be in their faces again soon. Ha-ha!

Busy day!

Another day to go and work. Guess, life is like that. You need to work and once in  while play as well. You needed both or else life will be boring. Kids are still in school, they will soon have a mini vacation before “Thanksgiving” which is a week from now. I am glad, I will be busy during those days and that way, I can also relax for the most part. Hubby is here now and we are going to go somewhere so I gotta go.

X’mas music!

It’s on and hear it everyday now. So what does it mean? Simple, holidays are here, the most awaited time of the year. One thing I hope it won’t be that bad is winter. I work and driving on that condition is pretty scary. A little snow is fine but a lot of it is not that great. So hopefully just enough. I have this bad headache tonight and it makes me tired. I hate to take any medicine so taking it easy and hoping for it to go away soon. Lots of stuff needed to be done.

Tennis Team

Post contributed by Patricia Singleton

I logged onto http://homesecuritysystem.com this morning as the first errand of the day. I had been planning on looking into a home alarm system for a while. After I set up an appointment for next week, I started getting ready for the big match. I play in a women’s tennis league. We have actually been doing really well this season and are playing in the state play-offs. The first match was today. I was trying to get in the tennis zone and followed my usual routine. I was thrown off my usual routine when I went to get into the shower and the water was ice cold. I don’t do well when things don’t go as planned and I have to adjust. There was also no cold water so I couldn’t make my hot oatmeal like I usually eat. All I could think about was that I wouldn’t be on top of my game. Turns out that I deal with change better than I actually thought. We rocked the house. My partner and I won our match and our team won the actual game! On to state!

Trick or treat!

It’s halloween but I have to work tonight. The kids won’t go trick-or-treating instead they are just going to hand out some candies at the house for the trick or treaters. We were so busy partying over the weekend, it sure was fun. Now back to the real world, this thing called work. Hopefully, we’ll get out early I might go over to a friend’s house if I’m not too tired. Happy Halloween!

Edmonton Rentals

Canada is such a wonderful place to explore and possibly to live in. Hubby loves it there and when we talk out retiring he would love to be in Canada. That’s why I’m excited to learn more about the place and explore all the wonderful things about it. He was talking about Edmonton, the capital of the Canadian province in Alberta and is the province second largest city. I stumble on this site Edmonton rentals wherein you can find Edmonton apartments for rent, houses for rent and any property available in the area. Just do some searches, find the place you want to move and then you can find all the available rentals.

Finding your next home is so easy wherever you are.  Just check them online and find your home online that easy. When we are ready it will be busy to find a home and  know exactly  where to find an apartment or houses in Edmonton. Check them out.

Another weekend!

Another weekend is here, kids will have their fall break on the following week. They are ready to have a little break from school they have been working hard lately and a week of break is a good thing. In my case, I will be working the whole weeken and of top of that pretty long hours. I can’t wait for Monday to have an off, sit back relax and sleep. I wish to have a week of not doing anything, not think about work and not to have to wake up early to start my day. But looks like it’s impossible so a little break will do just fine.
