Leap year comes every four years and this year is one. I heard it that on this day women can propose to their partners to asked the guy to marry her. Kind of odd but that’s the traditional way during leap year. I think it’s fun, some women did say they did it. I can’t imagine the looks of the guys faces, guess they like it.
Home now after a long day at work. Relaxing, just what I needed.
Today is Ash Wednesday and I forgot all about it. I was already at the store then I saw a couple of people having something on their forehead. At first I was wondering then it dawn on me that they must have gone to church attended a mass today.
I should have done that and I am sorry for not doing it. Why oh why did I forget.
I have been busy and I thought that the kids will have no school Monday and Tuesday. Goofy me it will be next week not this week. The week during President’s day, no school and it will be a long weekend for everyone. But not for me, it’s the time that the store will get busy so I need to work to make some $$$$. It will be nice if it’s gets so busy the whole day. I would love that.
Time flies and January 2012 went just like that. It’s over and we are now in February. Time does fly even if you are not having fun. I was working most of the time and forget about the days. Now it’s over. It was my brother’s birtday January and I was able to greet hime, early not later. I did not forget, I was being good this year.
My nephew’s b-day is February but not sure the day. Better asked my sister the exact date before I forgot. I wonder why I can’t remember.
When I was little my mom usually told us how the moon is shaping up. She has these beliefs when and what is the best time for everything. So today while looking at the calendar I found out that it’s a first quarter far from the full moon. I don’t know what that means but guess have to call my mom and asked what’s the best time for it.
Amazing….thinking about it.
I have a midshift today and I will be done early as well. Might be going somewhere after work depends if I am not that tired. It will be busy cause it’s the weekend but it will be alright. Dad will pick up the kids and I think they are going to Boulder afterwards. Hubby loves to go there every now and then. He has to visit and eat at his favorite Italian restaurant. He loves it!
I am working today and kids will be at school. New Year and everyone is quite busy which is a good thing. New semester for the kids and I am so happy about the outcome with the 1st. So definitely a winner this semester again.

I was working New Year’s Eve and glad to be off today since we have a party last night. It was a fun party, delicious foods and full of fun. We were dancing till the clock strikes 12am. Hopefull it’s going to be a better year for everybody.
We all need a nice day ahead of us. So that was my wish a great year for everyone. Happiness to all.
Wow, it’s finally here and it’s Christmas morning. Kids are so excited and of course they got what they told Santa. That’s the best part. Now they are older, Santa will just asked them want they want and get it exactly. That way no fuss all is good. We are going to a friends house tonight so hubby is making a turkey to take it there. It’s going to be fun.

Getting busy at the store but haven’t started any shopping yet. But I have an idea on what to get on each one of them. I just need to find time, do some shopping and get it over with. I don’t like to go shopping over the weekend, it’s always busy and lots of headache. Too many people go shopping on the weekend.
So I will just keep working and find time to go shopping on weekdays. Kids will be done soon and I am excited for them to have their vacation.
